Our Story
Splaat Photo was founded in 2009 by Greg McClarnon with a simple mission: to capture children's achievements and create a lasting record of their school years for families to treasure.
Today, we photograph around half a million moments annually across more than 1,800 school events throughout the UK.
Over time, we’ve come to believe that traditional school photography hasn’t kept pace with what schools and families truly want — more real moments, better value, and modern delivery.
So we set out to change that.
We’re proud to be disrupting the school photography industry by offering a service that puts families first: rich coverage of school life, personalised content delivery, and a pricing model that makes sense for everyone.
